Grace Community Motorcycle Fellowship

Grace Riders’

Our May ride & meal together was a BIG!!  On Saturday, May 23rd,a mixture of 13 GWRRA-Chapter ‘O’ & Grace Rider’s folks met at Grace (8 bikes). About 11:30am we headed out to Trenton, GA to a place called ‘Randy’s Hamburgers’ to enjoy a meal together & a time of fellowship.

Randy’s is known for the size of its’ burgers: 24 oz are the most common but boasting of a 48 oz burger that feeds eight. Think I’m kidding—just look at the pictures of the 24oz.

The group sang a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ for Ranny-led by Chris Richardson. It was Biblical in that: It was a joyful noise; LOL.

After the meal the group went to a nearby gas station to refuel. It was here that Ranny & Kevin met a delightful elderly couple in their 80’s. The gentleman was a doctor that had a bike years ago and really like the looks of Ranny’s trike. No sooner had Ranny offered for the gentlemen to get up on the trike & try it on for size than it was a done deal. The elderly man was astride the bike with Jenice still on the back. I might mention that Jenice was talking and didn’t even notice that the driver was not Ranny. The Doctors wife was still seated in their car and was shaking her head ‘no’. I don’t think she was sold on the idea yet. Kevin & Ranny went over to her car to have some fun with her. It was then that she explained that the bike would play havoc on her hair which she raised completely off her head to prove her point. I mean all of her hair (a wig). I wish I could have taken a picture of Kevin’s face. What a hoot!!

Afterwards Tim & Sue O’Neal led us back on quiet back roads that meandered past beautiful farms, meadows, and many more interesting sights including a view of the Tennessee River. Then thru Chattanooga and on to Cleveland.

Some of the group stopped off for a dipped cone before saying our farewell.

This was a great ride. Those of you that couldn't attend were missed & you missed a great time as well. We will have our June ride immediately following the activities on ‘Bikers Day’ at Grace on June 7
th.  You won't want to miss it!! The June ride will not be as lengthy. Probably no more than an hour total.
